Alert Issued For Missing Wantagh Man

An alert has been issued by police seeking the public’s assistance as they attempt to locate a 37-year-old man who has been reported missing by friends and family.

On Long Island, the Nassau County Police Department’s Missing Persons Squad released a photo of Gregory Thomson, who was reported missing on Friday, March 11 out of Wantagh.

Police said that Thomson was last seen shortly after 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 10 entering Mill Pond Park in Bellmore.

He was reported missing to the police shortly before 12:15 a.m. on Friday morning.

Thomson was described as being 6-foot tall and he was last seen wearing a brown jacket and dark pants.


His destination is unknown.
